Sanrio describes the character of Aggretsuko as follows:

Aggretsuko is a cute Red Panda, working as an office associate in the accounting department of a highly respected trading company. But in reality, her bosses are unsympathetic and give her harsh deadlines. She ultimately has become a pushover within the company. with heavy metal Karaoke sessions!

Aggretsuko Is written and directed by Rareko and features animation by Fanworks. The second season of Aggretsuko begins simultaneously worldwide distribution on Netflix on June 14, 2019.
