Danganronpa Scenario writer Norimitsu Kaiho is bringing his brand of action to original anime Akudama Drive This month, and a big round of news from the official site is showing off all the alternate-universe action!
Akudama Drive Take place in a timeline where war between Kansai and Kantou split Japan in half. Now Kansai is a vassal state of Kantou, and powerful criminals known as "Akudama" roam the streets practically unchecked. ::
The new PV features a sample of the show's hardcore opening song "STEAL !!" performed by musical group SPARK !! SOUND !! SHOW !!
The ED theme, "Ready," will be performed by utaite Group Urashimasakatasen—who recently appeared in their own gag anime::
A new key visual has also been released, showing the seven core characters known only by the roles they play (such as "Doctor," "Hacker," and "Ordinary Person"):
Four new voice actors are joining the already star-studded cast, fleshing out the Akudama's opposition:
