The upcoming anniversary film Digimon Adventure: LAST EVOLUTION -Kizuna- looks like it's going to be bridging generations—the newest announcest characters hail from the second season of the long-running series!
New character designs have come out featuring (from left to right, above) Iori, Daisuke, Ken, and Miyako in their adult years, alongside their partner Digimon.
Stepping into the adult versions of the characters will be:
Daisuke Motomiya (top left): CV Fukujuro Katayama (Peco, Ping Pong)
Ken Ichijouji (top right): CV Arthur Lounsbery (Kaito Tsukigami, STARMYU)
Miyako Inoue (bottom left): CV Ayaka Asai (Hazuki Kato, Sound! Euphonium)
Iori Hida (bottom right): CV Yoshitaka Yamaya (Marx Francois, Black Clover)
Junko Noda, Naozuki Takahashi, Koichi Tochika, and Megumi Urawa will be back to voice Veemon, Wormmon, Hawkmon, and Armadillomon, respectably.
Digimon Adventure: LAST EVOLUTION -Kizuna- The film will premiere in Japan on February 21, 2020, just a month shy of the final episode's 20th anniversary.
