Evangelion and Video Game Companies Offer Backgrounds for Your Next Web Meeting

To help people while they work from home, it’s becoming a trend for various companies in Japan, including Evangelion, Atlus, Nintendo, and Granblue Fantasy, to offer backgrounds for video conference applications, helping spice up meetings (and hide that mess of clothes that we won’t clean up).

For Evangelion, these backgrounds include the NERV center seen in Evangelion 2.22, two images of Unit 01, SEELE, and more! The images below are just examples used for this article, you can find more on the official website.

Evangelion is also offering some free “sound only” avatars on their Twitter account if you don’t want to have your face shown.

Granblue Fantasy is offering up gorgeous backgrounds from the sandy beaches of Auguste Isles to the windy lands of Eingana Island. More can be found on the official Twitter account of the mobile game.

Altus posted a few backgrounds from the latest game in the Persona series, Persona 5 Royal, letting you imagine you’re in the streets of Yongenjaya, sipping coffee in LeBlanc, or being held prisoner in the Velvet Room. Okay, maybe that last one won’t go down as well as the others.

For something more colorful, Super Mario Odyssey is also offering up some interesting backgrounds from different kingdoms in the game.
