New York-based film distributors GKIDS has published a hot new English-subtitled trailer for PROMARE, the first feature length anime theatrical film from director Hiroyuki Imaishi and Studio TRIGGER.The new trailer (below) introduces the main characters and central conflict of PROMARE.
GKIDS describes the story of PROMARE as follows:
Thirty years has passed since the appearance of the Burnish, a race of flame-wielding mutant beings, who destroyed half of the world with fire.When a new group of aggressive mutants calling themselves Mad Burnish appears, the epic battle between Galo Thymos, a new member of the anti-Burnish rescue team Burning Rescue, and Lio Fotia, the leader of Mad Burnish begins.
After a set of special screenings with Fathom Events on September 17 & 19, PROMARE will receive a limited release in select U.S. theaters beginning on September 20, 2019.For venues and ticket sales, please check out the official PROMARE Event pages at GKIDS and Fathom events.
