Little Hero Dreams Big in LasDan TV Anime Trailer

The life of a big time adventurer starts small in a laidback new trailer for Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town (known in Japan as Tatoeba Last Dungeon Mae no Mura no Shounen ga Joban no Machi de Kurasu You na Monogatari, Or "LasDan" for short), an upcoming TV anime based on the series of fantasy light novels written by Toshio Satou and illustrated by Nao Watanuki where the main character does exactly what is says on the label.

The original Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town novels are published in Japan by SB Creative under their GA Bunko imprint, and an English language version of the series is also available from Yen Press, who describe the story as follows:

Since when is life on easy mode? Lloyd dreams of becoming a burly solider in the royal capital. But everyone in his village agrees he's the weakest of the bunch, including Lloyd himself. Little does he know, all the inhabitants of his tiny town are absurdly overpowered-and Lloyd is no exception! With brains, brawn, and bewitchery, he has a lethal combo that would put anyone in the capital to shame.Exerting unimaginable strength? You betcha! Casting ancient magic? No sweat! Holding himself in high esteem? Erm, he might need to work a little more on that one…

The Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town TV anime is directed by migmi and features animation production by Liden Films. Originally scheduled for an October 2020 release, the series is now scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan in January of 2021.
