Sunday marked the final day of the Macross Delta Walküre FINAL LIVE TOUR 2023 ~Last Mission~ concerts, and with it came a big announcement for the Macross series. While details are light at the moment, a new Macross animation project is currently in the works at Sunrise.

Prior to this, the most recent Macross animated project was Macross Delta the Movie Zettai LIVE!!!!!!, which opened in Japan back in October 2021 with the Macross F ~Time Labyrinth~ short. Stay tuned for more on what's next for the series as further details are announced.
