With Persona 5 Royal being unmasked on October 31, Sony and Atlus have announced limited edition PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro ’s, and controllers decked out in dignified Persona 5 Royal designs.The consoles were on show at Tokyo Game Show this weekend locked away in a glass case at the Atlus booth.
The PlayStation 4 Pro model comes in “Glacier White” featuring each of the Phantom Thieves signature “All Out Attack” and sports a 1 terabyte hard drive.
The normal PlayStation 4 model comes in both a "Jet Black" or "Glacier White" model with either a 500 gigabyte hard drive or 1 terabyte hard drive. "Jet Black" faceplate (which is detachable!) is engraved with an image of Joker and Arsene and the "Glacier White" has an engraved image of Morgana.
Each of the consoles come with a controller featuring the feisty feline Morgana along with other Persona 5 iconography.The controller can also be purchased separately.For those who already own one of Sony ’s 8th generation game consoles, you can purchase the non-Pro face plates on their own.
The limited edition consoles release in Japan on October 31 – The same day as the game – and is only available until December 25The Persona 5 Royal game is n’t bundled with the console.No word yet on if the consoles will be released in the west when the game comes out in Spring 2020.
