Strike Witches Go Global with Comedy Spin-Off in 2021

Good news for fans of the more humorous spin-offs of the Strike Witches series: Strike Witches: 501st JOINT FIGHTER WING Take Off!, the 2019 short form TV anime that looks at the daily misadventures of the Strike Witches team, is getting a sequel with an expanded cast of characters entitled World Witches: Take Off!.

Like the previous series, World Witches: Take Off! It based on the manga written by Fumikane Shimada and Projekt Kagonish and illustrated by Makoto Fujibayashi.It features direction by Fumio Ito and animation production by acca effe and Giga Production, and once again the voice cast of previous Strikes Witches anime series will reprise their roles.

World Witches: Take Off! is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan in 2021.Crunchyroll currently streams the ealier series, Strike Witches: 501st JOINT FIGHTER WING Take Off!, and describes the story as follows:

Strike Witches, the 501st Joint Fighter Wing girls, are back from battle and ready to relax as best they can! War with the deadly Neuroi won't last forever, but one thing is certain, the war on laundry is eternal.
