The Hero is Overpowered But Overly Cautious TV Anime Debuts in October of 2019

The main cast of the Hero is Overpowered but Overly Cautious is ready for action.

Initially announced back in November of 2018, the official release period has been released for The Hero is Overpowered But Overly Cautious (Known in Japan as Kono Yuusa ga Ore TUEEE Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru), a TV anime based on the series of humorous fantasy light novels written by Light Tuchihi and illustrated by Saori Toyota about a fantasy hero whose skill and prowess are only matched by his anxious need to over-plan everything.

The original The Hero is Overpowered But Overly Cautious Novels are published in Japan by Kadokawa under their Kadokawa Books label, and an English language adaptation is also in the works from Yen Press, who descibe the story as the series as follows:

He's everything she expected him to be except for one, tiny thing: this anxious hero can't do anything unless he's absolutely sure nothing can can go wrong!

The Hero is Overpowered But Overly Cautious TV anime is directed by Masayuki Sakoi and features series composition / screenplays by Kenta Ihara, character designs by Mai Toda, and animation production by WHITE FOX. The series will begin broadcasting in Japan in October of 2019.
