Uma Musume Pretty Derby Spin-Off Four-Panel Manga Umayon Gets Anime Adaptation

It was officially announced at the CygamesFes 2018 event holding at Makuhari Messe today on December 15

that an anime adaptation of Umayon, A spin-off four panel manga of Cygames' multimedia franchise Uma

Musume Pretty Derby, is now in the works. The anime's official teaser site also opens with a 30-second

teaser trailer. How and when the anime is distributed is currently unknown.

The manga illustrated by Kuma Jet (The Cinderella Girls Theater anime original character designer) has

been serialized on Cygames' web comic service on CyComi since March 2018. Its story focuses on the

horse girls' comical daily life, so far 38 chapters have been available.

Meanwhile, the release of the Uma Musume Pretty Derby franchise's first smartphone game app, which

was originally planned for the winter of 2018, is announced to be postponed to a later date for
