As we move into the main chunk of the School Festival arc in the latest season of My Hero Academia TV anime, the question remained, who would voice the villains, Gentle Criminal and La Brava? Announced on February 8, alongside the first anime visuals of the villains, the voice actors for the two characters were released, and they ’re perfect!
Koichi Yamadera (Beerus in Dragon Ball Super, Ryoji Kaji in Neon Genesis Evangelion) as Gentle Criminal (real name: Danjuro Tobita)
Yui Horie (Tsubasa Hanekawa in Monogatari, Wiz in KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world!) as La Brava (real name: Manami Aiba)
Yamadera commented on his casting saying that he ’s “Glad to have the most rewarding of roles” and that “From the bottom of [his] heart, it was fun ” playing a character “That funny and sad way of life.” Horie exclaimed that she “Cried many times, even when [she was] reading the manga, reading scripts, and even in the post-recording studio ” whilst playing the character.

My Hero Academia season 4 is currently moving into the School Festival arc from the manga series created by Kohei Horikoshi that is published in Weekly Shonen Jump. Episodes from My Hero Academia are streamed on Crunchyroll as they air in Japan every Saturday.
