The updates to the long-awaited and long-planned anime adaptation to Junji Ito's Uzumaki have continued at a steady if sometimes glacial pace to keep the focus on the production itself. Thankfully, to make up for the delays, there has been a substantial amount of behind-the-scenes info to keep fans updated while we wait for the series premiere, from first looks at the voice cast and voice acting process to first looks at characters and the animation style.
Now, the latest update shows off the series in motion, in both sound and vision, with a request from director Nagahama for more patience, as the series will now debut in October of 2022, instead of its previously announced 2021 premiere dateWith the extremely high quality of the first look in the announcement, fans will gladly wait a little more for the final product.
