In commemoration of the forthcoming theatrical release of ARIA The BENEDIZIONE, the final chapter of the Ao no Curtain Call (Blue Curtain Call) trilogy project, a long PV looking back at famous scenes from the ARIA TV and film series has been streamed on YouTube.
Following the three TV anime series – ARIA The ANIMATION (2005), ARIA The NATURAL (2006), and ARIA The ORIGINATION (2008), the Ao no Curtain Call trilogy project was launched in 2015 as the tenth anniversary of Kozue Amano's original ARIA manga series. Its three-episode first chapter ARIA The AVVENIRE was screened from September 2015, then its the second chapter ARIA The CREPUSCOLO followed in March 2021.
The third and final chapter ARIA The BENEDIZIONE will be released in 78 theaters across Japan on December 3, 2021. The song featured in the PV is "Undine ~ 2021 edizione ~," the film's ED theme sung by Yui Makino. It is a re-recorded version of the OP theme for the TV anime first season ARIA The ANIMATION. She also sings the film's OP theme song "Espaero," Which is featured in the film's full trailer. Her 15th single including both songs will be released on December 1.
