Delicious Party Pretty Cure Character Musical Show Posts Digest Clip Filled with Fun

In conjunction with the TV broadcast, the Precure franchise has been holding character musical shows featuring kigurumi (suit) actors at venues around Japan since its beginning. To promote Delicious Party Pretty Cure Dream Stage, the latest show based on the ongoing 19th TV series, the Precure franchise's official YouTube channel has started streaming a digest clip to introduce the highlights of the Precure girls' performance on the real stage.

The Precure character musical shows have been produced by Gekidan Hikosen, a Kanagawa-based theater company that has specialized in masked character stage plays, since the franchise's launch in 2004. The company has been known for their musical adaptations of popular kids anime franchise, such as Ojamajo Doremi, Ojyarumaru, Nintama Rantaro, Chibi Maruko-chan, and Sgt. Keroro. The Delicious Party Pretty Cure Dream Stage musical started its run in Chiba Prefecture on July 9, and is scheduled to be performed across Japan until March 2023.

The show features an original story and characters that can only be seen on the stage. Yui and her friends are transported to the Mochitsuki Kingdom by chance. Together with Caro, the princess of the kingdom, they are trying their best to make the "Mochimochi Omochitsuki Party" a success. But then, Narcistole shows up and they are in big trouble…! Cure Precious and other Precure girls are fighting back to get back the precious memories of the stolen Recipepes and Caro.
