If the new season of a certain streaming series has you wishing for a fighting game where you can get with your opponent rather than beating them up, help is in sight thanks to King of Fighters.
Victor Entertainment and SNK recently announced The King of Fighters for Girls, an "ikemen martial arts raising game "where you train and build bonds with the guys of the popular franchise. They're hoping to appeal both to longtime fans of the KoF Series and to newbies for whom the ikemen Iteration may spark interest.
To get the hype train rolling, a new series of Fighter's Party! Live steams will be kicking off next month. The steam will air irregularly when there is news to give, featuring special guest appearances from game voice actors and staff.
Fighter's Party! Vol. 1 Haruka Ishiya (Billy Kane), Geki Okawa (Benimaru Nikaido), Kazuhiro Okamoto (Robert Garcia), Daisuke Hirakawa (game original character Nagi), Toshimari Fukanachi (Andy Bogard), and Shun Horie (Bao The event will be available for viewing on Nico Nico, YouTube, and Periscope.
Interested parties can apply via the game's website. As part of the game's goal for welcome KoF fans and newcomers discovering the franchises via the app, winners will be chosen evenly across both demographics. In the end, the team hopes to have an even mix of knowledgeable fans and a new generation of players on hand.
Last but not least, the game's official Twitter account First begin will be Shingo Yabuki voiced by none other than Takehito Koyasu (DIO JoJo's Bizarre Adventure).
