Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2022 Posts Collaboration Visuals Showcasing Famous Places

Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair, one of the largest manga and anime trade fair in western Japan, has revealed this year's collaboration visuals combining popular series/characters and Kyoto's famous places.

The theme of this year's event is "The dispatched place of Kyoto's Art and Culture." Collaboration between "Kyoto," a city representing Japanese traditions and cultural transmission, and new Japanese culture "manga, anime, and games," which boast global popularity, is represented with popular works and characters.

"A Couple of Cuckoos" & Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art

"Senbon Zakura" (Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin & Len) & Kyoto Minamiza theater

TV anime "Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War" & Toei Kyoto Studio Park

"Bocchi the Rock!" & Demachiza theater

In addition, original goods using these collaboration visuals will also be available.

Acrylic diorama: 1,500 yen
Wooden tag-style key holder: 1,000 yen
Cheki-style card: 500 yen
Yatsuhashi (cinnamon-seasoned rice flour cracknel) with special cards (8 pieces): 1,300 yen
Tin can with Konpeito (sugar candy): 1,200 yen
Boxed Senbei (rice cracker) 1,000 yen

This year's event is scheduled to be held in three locations (Miyako Messe/ROHM Theater Kyoto, Kyoto International Manga Museum, TOEI Kyoto Studio Park) on September 17 and 18.
