Square Enix is breathing life back into another one of its classic RPGs with the announcement of SaGa Frontier Remastered. Originally released on PlayStation in Japan back in 1997, followed by the west in 1998, the updated version of SaGa Frontier is making its way to PlayStation 4, Switch, PC, iOS, and Android, and the digital release is currently set for summer 2021 around the world.
SaGa Frontier Remastered takes the original and updates the visuals while adding in new events and features, as well as a new playable character. Once you clear the stories of the seven main protagonists you'll be able to unlock the story for new protagonist Fuse, which has SaGa general director Akitoshi Kawazu and game writer / novelist Benny Matsuyama behind it along with new music from composer Kenji Ito.
