Nao Toyama Talks about Her Aspirations for TV Anime I’m Quitting Heroing ED Theme

Along with the release of the second PV for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of Quantum's fantasy light novel series Yusha, Yamemasu / I’m Quitting Heroing, it was announced that the anime's ED theme song "Growing" is sung by voice actress/singer Nao Toyama

"Growing" was written/composed/arranged by up-and-coming popular composer Wataru Sena, who has collaborated with Yui Ogura, Kemono Friends VA units, and DIALOGUE+. He says on Twitter, "It's been a dream of mine since I was really little to write an anime song, and now my dream has come true…!"

While the release date of the song has not yet been finalized, Toyama has released her comment as below:

I'm Nao Toyama, and I'll be in charge of the ED theme for the TV anime "I’m Quitting Heroing." When I read the original novel, I felt that the way the hero's point of view was cut out was very unique, as well as how the story develops after that… The song I will be singing, "Growing," includes the nature of the growth of such a hero in its title, and also conveys the message that there are friends who will rub your back when times are tough. The essence of the work can be felt in the pop and bright tone of the song. I hope the fans of the original novel will like it too! Let's enjoy the upcoming TV anime together!
