It ’s a popular pastime In Japan to sing the night away with “A Cruel Angel's Thesis,” the opening song from 1995 anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. The song is so popular that it topped both the overall chart and the anime chart for most popular karaoke songs in the Heisei era.Now, along with the opening song, you ’ll be able to watch full episodes of the hit series in between your renditions of "God Knows"and "Zen Zen Zense."

Only eight episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion will be launching in karaoke places over Japan in the newly installed JOYSOUND MAX GO. Episodes 1 and 2 will start airing January 28, episodes 5 and 6 will be available from February 28, episodes 8 and 9 are singing from March 27, and episodes 19 and 24 will be released on April 24.The episodes will be presented in a 40-minute piece with an introduction.

While it might seem weird to go to karaoke and instead of singing, watching anime instead, karaoke parlor's in Japan usually run 24 hours, with cheaper overnight options from 12 AM to 5 AM if you miss the last train of the night. can also include all you can drink alcohol and food, making a visit to karaoke a good way to finish off a night out.
