After it was announced that the team behind the Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time TV anime was made up of a team who mostly dabbling in the lewder-side of anime production, people were wondering if Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time was going to be suited to a TV broadcast.
It seems the team caught wind of that, making light of the subject in the first trailer for the anime series by having social media messages appear spliced in with footage from the upcoming series. Just a warning though, it's kinda not safe for work.
The trailer previews Yui Ninomiya's opening theme song "Tsuranuite Yuutsu (Piercing Melancholy)" alongside the hot-blooded animation. Tatsumi, the director of Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time, known for directing hentai, also released some of the storyboards for scenes used in the trailer.
Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time is scheduled to be broadcast from July on Tokyo MX and other TV stations in Japan.Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed Daisuke Hiyama ’s ecchi harem comedy fantasy manga in North America and describes The series as:
