Pokémon, Evangelion Voice Actor Megumi Hayashibara Joins Ghost in The Shell SAC_2045

With only one more day until Ghost in The Shell SAC_2045 hits Netflix worldwide, it was announced that the voice actor behind Evangelion's Rei Ayanami, and the Japanese voice of Jessie / Musashi in Pokémon, Megumi Hayashibara will be joining the TV anime as Takashi Shimamura (image above), a "post-human" character who holds the key to the entire story.

Ghost in The Shell SAC_2045 sees original Stand Alone Complex TV anime director Kenji Kamiyamaback in the director's chair with animation co-produced by Production I.G and SOLA DIGITAL ARTS. The series as already confirmed a second season and will hit Netflix on April 23.
