The anime film adaptation of Shogo Sugitani's Pompo: The Cinéphile was previously delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and is now set to open in Japanese theaters on June 4. Pompo has rookie singer CIEL lined up for the theme, which is titled "Mado wo Akete" ("Open a Window").
