Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! was previously announced for a spring 2023 launch on Nintendo Switch, and now that timing has been narrowed down. According to publisher ININ Games and developer TAITO, the puzzler will arrive both digitally and physically on May 23.
Among the modes players can look forward to is a one vs. one online battle mode, which lets players from all over the world compete against one another, complete with a Password Matching function so you can easily link up with friends. The devs shared a video showcasing this feature, so check that out below.
There's also a Puzzle Bobble vs. Space Invaders mode planned to celebrate the 45th anniversary of classic arcade game Space Invaders. In this mode, players will attempt to get rid of the bubble-enclosed Invaders by stacking three or more bubbles of the same color while avoiding attacks, but much like the original game, you can only shoot straight up. Up to four players can enjoy this mode cooperatively.
