Saori Hayami Is Unmasked as Yamato in New One Piece Video

Fan-favorite One Piece Character Yamato has a voice!

The voice actor behind the former Beast Pirate and child of Kaido is none other than Saori Hayami. You'll have heard Hayami all over the place: as Yumeko Jabami in Kakegurui, Shinobu Kocho in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Maria Campbell in My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, to name a few.

You don't have to wait to see Yamato in action, either. The second installment of WE ARE ONE. includes Hayami in the role during the short's animated segment. (Be sure to hit CC to turn on subtitles!)

WE ARE ONE. is part of the ongoing One Piece 100 We Are One Project, celebrating 100 volumes of the long-running manga. The miniseries (which also celebrates the show's 1000th episode) consists of five short live-action dramas, each focusing on characters who are fans of One Piece. In this installment, the soon-to-be-married Minami learns to follow her dreams thanks to the manga.
