On the release day of his second EP "my beautiful valentine," voice actor Soma Saito (Yoshikazu Miyano in Sasaki and Miyano, Wein in The Genius Prince's Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt) posted a full music video for the album's lead track, "Genjitsu" (Phantom Day), on his official YouTube channel.
The six songs on the album do not send a specific message, leaving the interpretation up to the receivers. The story in this music video, which at first glance seems like a sisterhood story, is just one interpretation by director Yuki Wakisaka, and how it is perceived is also up to the viewers. Saito writes on Twitter, "If you enjoy the song and the video together, I'm sure you'll come up with different interpretations. I hope you will enjoy it repeatedly!"
The album "my beautiful valentine" was released in Japan on February 9, 2022, then ranked second in Oricon's daily album chart by selling 7,739 copies on its first day.
