March 12, 2021 –Shanghai, China- Naval shoot-em-up mobile game, Azur Lane is teaming up with global conservation organization, WWF (World Wildlife Fund), for a surprise 13-day event, aiming to raise awareness amongst its players on the importance of preserving nature and creating a better and greener world for all. Various rewards and new skins are available in celebration of this collaboration as well.

About This Collaboration
China-based, Azur Lane ’s long-going affection for pandas and appreciation of WWF ’s work on nature while pandas may no longer be endangered, WWF and Azur Lane ’s hope by using the love for this iconic species is that players will be educated on the importance of nature conservation and help prevent the degradation of our planet. Azur Lane invites everyone to join the cause and further improve the status of nature conservation.

Introducing “The Cutest Companions”
The Cutest Companions refers to the new in-game outfits featuring pandas, an iconic species that is loved by people all around the world. Giant pandas now mainly live in the mountains of western China, and WWF has been working tirelessly to improve its natural habitat since the 1980s.
In this 13-day special event starting on 12 March, two new exclusive outfits with a warm panda theme: Baobao's Buddy for Ping Hai, and Da Bao's Friend for Ning Hai are obtainable for free by completing tasks in the game. A new limited- time Furniture set, Panda Paradise, is available for players to experience the beautiful and adorable environment of pandas' conservation.
New Skins and Popular Characters Return
As to other in-game updates, Independence, Mikasa, Nagato and Le Téméraire are getting new skins this time. Live2D skins for Émile Bertin and Dunkerque are returning to the game as well. Super Rare characters, Le Malin, Jean Bart and Massachusetts have made their grand comeback with a rate-up, along with four other Elite characters. Additionally, Iris of Light and Dark is added to War Archives.
