Terrible Tornado Skin Revealed for Overwatch 2's One-Punch Man Collab Event

Terrible Tornado Kiriko - Overwatch 2 x One-Punch Man

Trying to match One-Punch Man characters to the most likely Overwatch 2 heroes has been part of the fun in the lead-up to the collab event's launch on March 7, so congrats if you got this latest reveal correct, as new support hero Kiriko receives the honor of a Tatsumaki skin for the game's first major IP collaboration.

According to a blog post on the Xbox website, the Terrible Tornado – Kiriko bundle containing the legendary skin, the Terribly Impressive Victory Pose and the Terrible Tornado namecard will set players back 2,100 Overwatch Coins (worth ~$19.99).

In an interview with Japanese news outlet GameSpark, Blizzard Entertainment vice president Jon Spector and art director Dion Rogers stated that the strong overlap between Overwatch 2 players and anime fans made them look for such titles with "exciting game-compatible elements" that would connect with domestic and international audiences, and One-Punch Man was greatly welcomed by the development team.

More information about the collaboration will be announced at a later date, including the reveal of additional skins as shop items, voice lines and related challenges. Spector did clarify, sadly, that Doomfist won't be able to one-shot enemies while dressed as Saitama.

And don't forget: a third anime season of the fan-favorite One-Punch Man anime is also on the way!
