Voice actress Minori Chihara, best known as Yuki Nagato in the Haruhi Suzumiya franchise, will perform at her first one-person play "Merry's Wonder Dream" at Kawaguchiko Round Hall in Yamanashi Prefecture from December 23 to 25, 2022. And the play will be streamed for free on her official YouTube channel a few days after that.
In this performance, Chihara draws on all the weapons she has acquired in her career to take on the challenge of her first one-person show. She tells an original story filled with all kinds of entertainment, including reading, singing, talking and comedies, all by herself.
She says, "I will try my hand at a one-person show in this place I love. What I arrived at in search of a new goal was to 'challenge myself as an expressive person.' The town of Fujikawaguchiko, where the play will take place, is my second hometown, and I have many connections to it. I want to make everyone smile here again. With this in mind, I decided to take a new step forward from this place. Enjoying 'Merry's Wonder Dream' is not limited to watching the play. We are aiming for a slightly mysterious and wonderful entertainment that will allow you to tour the town and enjoy the story with all five senses."

It has been also confirmed that the play's background music is provided by singer-songwriter ZAQ, who has worked on theme songs for many popular anime franchise, such as Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions, TRINITY SEVEN, Classroom of the Elite, and Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma.
