BanG Dream! fans may know violinist Ayasa for her new role as Yashio Rui, the stoic violinist of Morfonica. But the self-styled "Wotalist" has been performing violin covers of anime themes for some time now–and one of her recent performances is a must for KAGUYA-SAMA: LOVE IS WAR fans!
Ayasa shared her take on Masayuki Suzuki and Airi Suzuki's opening theme for the second season, "DADDY! DADDY! DO!" The two-part arrangement means she gets to be onscreen twice, which she used as an opportunity to cosplay as both Kaguya and Chika.
On an Instagram post Promoting the video, Ayasa mentions that she was doing her best to be as "in character" for both Kaguya and Chika as possible as she played. See if you can spot it:
Ayasa has covered lots of anime tunes on her channel, including selections from your name., Sailor Moon Crystal, and Macross Frontier.More of her tunes will be available on Volume 3 of Anison Cover Night, coming out July 1.
