The official website for the forthcoming live-action film adaptation of CLAMP's dark fantasy manga xxxHOLiC has released a 30-second teaser trailer introducing its main cast members and fantastic, glossy worldview.

The clip filled with lustrous visuals shows how a high school student, Kimihiro Watanuki (Ryunosuke Kamiki), who has been living a lonely life because he can see Ayakashi, a monster that haunts the darkness of people's hearts, wanders into a shop that grants any kind of wish in exchange for a price, and meets its mistress, Yuko Ichihara (Ko Shibasaki). It also includes the introduction of Shizuka Doumeki (Hokuto Matsumura) and Himawari Kunogi (Tina Tamashiro), and the monster Ayakashi drawn with VFX.
