Yes! Precure 5 Sequel Kibou no Chikara ~ Otona Precure '23 ~ Unveils Teaser Visual & Main Staff

 

 

The official website for Kibou no Chikara ~ Otona Precure '23~, the forthcoming sequel to the Precure franchise's fourth installment Yes! Precure 5 (2007-2008) and fifth installment Yes! Precure 5 Gogo! (2008-2009), opens today with a teaser visual featuring the protagonist Nozomi Yumehara who has grown up.

 

Toei Animation announced last week that it will produce its Precure anime franchise's two new series for adult audiences, Kibou no Chikara ~ Otona Precure '23 ~and Maho Tsukai Precure! 2 / Maho Girls Precure! 2 (tentative title), a direct sequel to the 13th instalment Maho Tsukai Precure! / Maho Girls Precure! (2016-2017).

The site also confirmed that Yuko Sanpei (Boruto Uzumaki in BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS), who voiced the protagonist Nozomi Yumehara / Cure Dream in the original series, will reprise her role. Other cast members have yet to be announced.

 

Takayuki Hamana (Sorcerous Stabber Orphen) serves as series director, and in place of the original's Toshie Kawamura, Atsuko Nakajima (Ranma 1/2, You're Under Arrest) works on character design. Meanwhile, the original's series composition writer Yoshimi Narita and soundtrack composer Naoki Sato are confirmed to return. Toei Animation and Studio Deen co-work on anime production.

 

Kibou no Chikara ~ Otona Precure '23 ~, which depicts the story of how the main girls of the Precure 5 series have grown up centering on the protagonist Nozomi Yumehara, will premiere on NHK Educational TV in October 2023.
