A new good boy anime series is upon us as Japanese public broadcaster NHK revealed today that Saya Miyauchi’s slice-of-life educational Dog Signal manga will be getting a TV anime series this fall.

Dog Signal follows pet owner Miya Samura who is having trouble with their dog that she was forced to home, one day her life is turned upside down when they meet dog trainer Niwa and is amazed by their supernatural dog-teaching ability. The story shows the struggles of dog owners as well as the connection between humans and their animals.

While the staff and cast for the series haven’t been confirmed yet, Dog Signal is set to air in Japan on NHK-E in Fall 2023.
