Netflix Original Anime Film Bubble Posts New Clip featuring ED Theme by Riria.

The official website for Tetsuro Araki's (Attack on Titan) forthcoming original anime feature film Bubble has posted a 30-second special clip to introduce its ED theme song "Jyaane, Matane" (Bye, See you later) sung by singer-songwriter Riria..

In the fall of 2019, Riria. began posting her performance videos on TikTok and YouTube without showing her face, and her emotional voice and rich expressiveness have attracted a wide range of followers and rave comments from people of all ages. Now she has over 1.7 million followers on SNS. She was initially scheduled to participate in the film as a the ending theme singer only. But the planner/producer of the film, Genki Kawamura (Your Name., Weathering With You) made the big decision to choose her as the voice cast of the main heroine, Uta.

The ED theme song was created with the character she played in mind. She says, "I created this song while imagining what Uta and Hibiki would be like if they existed in the present day."

Bubble will be streamed on Netflix worldwide on April 28, then will be released in Japanese theaters on May 13. Netflix describes the film's synopsis as below:

The story is set in Tokyo, after bubbles that broke the laws of gravity rained down upon the world. Cut off from the outside world, Tokyo has become a playground for a group of young people who have lost their families, acting as a battlefield for parkour team battles as they leap from building to building. Hibiki, a young ace known for his dangerous play style, makes a reckless move one day and plummets into the gravity-bending sea. His life is saved by Uta, a girl with mysterious powers. The pair then hear a unique sound audible only to them. Why did Uta appear before Hibiki? Their encounter leads to a revelation that will change the world.
