Japanese voice actor Takahiro Sakurai, who is best known as the voice of Reigen Arataka in Mob Psycho 100, Suguru Geto in JUJUTSU KAISEN and Giyu Tomioka in Demon Slayer; Kimetsu no Yaiba, has come down with COVID-19, his agency Intention revealed last night. Intention reported in a news post that Sakurai had a fever and was "recuperating at home" in line with health advice from the local health center.
Sakurai's agency explained that the voice actor had come down with a fever on the night of April 25 and under the guidance of his doctor was given a PCR test the next day, which returned a positive result on April 27.

Sakurai can currently be heard in Shenmue as Lan Di and as the Japanese dub actor for Robert Paterson in The Batman.
