Universal Studios Japan has announced that “Detective Conan World” inspired by Gosho Aoyama’s mystery manga series will join “Universal Cool Japan 2022,” a limited time event that brings together five of Japan’s leading entertainment brands, for a limited time from March 4 to August 28, 2022.
The Detective Conan franchise was first featured at the event in 2017. This year, “Detective Conan World” offers four attractions, the most in USJ’s history, where you can enjoy the world of Detective Conan from every angle.
(1) “Detective Conan the Escape”
– A real escape game including riddle solving, screen images, various special effects, and authentic live performances. It was first held at the park in 2017 and returns after a two year absence.
(2) “Detective Conan x Hollywood Dream the Ride”
– A “story coaster” where the sounds and the characters’ voices echo realistically in your ears, and takes you into the world of a story while experiencing the speed of the ride.
(3) “Detective Conan Mystery Challenge”
– A “real detective experience” where you can actually go around the park and solve crimes.
(4) “Detective Conan Mystery Restaurant”
– A live-entertainment restaurant
