Netflix's Live-Action Cowboy Bebop Series Already Planning Season 2

Live-action Cowboy Bebop

It may be a while before we see Netflix's live-action Cowboy Bebop seriesFirst, production was delayed when John Cho injured his knee on set back in October of last year, and now it's on hold again due to COVID-19 concerns.Even with all those setbacks, though, it looks like the team is already planning for a second season.

The latest update comes from Observer, which got some choice quotes from Cowboy Bebop According to the story, Observer spoke to Pinkner right before he was heading to a "notes call" for season 2's scripts.

Pinkner took the opportunity to convey how excited he is to bring this iconic anime to life. He said they're all looking forward to getting back to the world they're creating in New Zealand, which he describes as, "a really fun, dynamic visualization of this insane anime. "Pinkner went on to add," I think that because we have these hour-long episodes, we have an opportunity to take the anime and sort of like just deepen and dimensionalize the source material. "

Be sure to check out Observer's full article for more quotes from Pinkner. Hopefully we'll hear more about the state of Cowboy Bebop once we're out of the woods.
